Mark Livingston

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Mark brings over 30 years of corporate leadership and executive search experience and a passion for the impact exceptional leadership can provide. Before founding Three Oaks Leadership Advisors, he was a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles International. Mark conducts executive and board searches, succession planning engagements and leadership assessments tied to succession or merger integration. At Heidrick, Mark led the Global Natural Resources Practice for eight years. He was, most recently, a Partner in the CEO & Board and Industrial Practices of the firm and a founding member of that firm’s Philanthropy Committee. Mark’s clients have spanned the natural resources world to include Agriculture, Chemicals, Renewable Energy/Sustainability, and Midstream and Downstream Oil & Gas with select mining and metals clients.

Prior to entering the executive search industry, Mark served for almost 15 years in supply chain and financial leadership roles for companies such as Shell, Robert Bosch and PPG Industries. These assignments included expatriation to Brazil and Germany.

Mark has dual Bachelors of Arts degrees from the University of Maine in History and International Relations. He went on to earn his Masters of International Business Studies from the Darla Moore School of Business. Mark serves as a director on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s national board, as well as its South Central Chapter. On the national board, Mark is Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Finance, Nominations, and Compensation Committees. Mark serves on the Corporate Work Study Committee of Cristo Rey Jesuit and volunteers with Career Spring, the leading platform for helping first-time college graduates access exceptional career opportunities. Mark resides in Bellaire, TX with his wife, Lisa, and their two sons. He is an enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.

Britni Deaville

Co-Founder and Project Manager

Britni Deaville is a Co-Founder and Engagement Manager for Three Oaks, for whom she leads recruitment research and daily business operations. She brings over 10 years of search industry experience, most recently having worked at Heidrick & Struggles, where she provided administrative and project management support. Prior to that, Britni led a team of associates recruiting professionals in the IT industry and worked full cycle recruitment in the Oil & Gas industry, where she was recognized as “Rookie of the Year” for her performance. Her early career started in banking, where she held progressing titles leading to Assistant Manager. In addition, she previously held two US Senate internships with Senator Jim Jeffords.

Britni holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Advertising from the University of Texas at Arlington. She resides in Kingwood, TX with her husband, Nick, and their two children.

Brian Studdard

Principal

Brian brings extensive experience from the transportation & logistics industries. Over his 30-year career with United Parcel Service, Brian held positions of increasing responsibility in sales strategy, human capital and finance & accounting while engaging across numerous functions and business units globally.

His most recent assignment was a five-year strategic transformation of the sales function focused on management structure flattening, workforce optimization and reinvestment in new sales technology and customer service platforms. The role required confidential and close interaction with C-Suite leadership and the Human Resources and Legal functions to analyze options and make sensitive strategic decisions.

In another key role, Brian led the Human Capital team of a 1,200 employee global business unit and had responsibility for staffing, training, leadership development and communications. He also spent five years as the international controller for a financial services business unit. Additional assignments included sales operations, analytics and sales & revenue strategies for the package, road freight and air/ocean forwarding businesses. Brian also worked on multiple M&A evaluations and post-deal commercial team integrations.

Brian has a Masters of International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Alabama. Brian resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife Jan and their two daughters.
